During the maintenance phase of treatment, patients should be taking their medication as prescribed. The complete treatment plan should include counseling and behavioral therapy to address the emotional and mental sides of recovery. While each patient circumstance is unique one should generally expect to come for the evaluation and then follow up in 1 week. If there are no concerns at that point follow ups will be monthly.
